After his wife dies a father sends his son to live with relatives on a farm while he finds work in Addis Ababa.The boy brings along his beloved lamb to keep him company. A film filled with lush landscapes and details of a lifestyle far removed from the West. The first Ethiopian film to be submitted as the Academy Awards’ Best Foreign Language Film and accepted to the Cannes Film Festival.
