Animated Best Loved Children’s Books: Program II (age 3 & up)

Continuation of the morning program with an entire new group of animated films based on best loved children's books from Scholastic/Weston Woods Studios, including the Boston premieres of: The Curious Garden by Peter Brown and animated by Watertown’s Soup2Nuts; Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed by Mo Willems; The North Star by Peter Reynolds and Splat the Cat by Robert Scotton, both made by Boston-based Fablevision and narrated by Tim Curry; and Caldecott winner The Lion and the Mouse by Jerry Pinkney. Favorites from recent years include: Crazy Hair Day by Barney Saltzer & narrated by Zach Braff; There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly by Simms Taback and narrated and sung by Cindy Lauper; The Gym Teacher from the Black Lagoon by Mike Thaler; and Peter Reynold’s The Dot by Boston-based Fablevision.

Tickets: $3/person or $8 for Saturday day pass. Purchase on day of show at the theater box office.
